She swerved the Joint Bay question; they are massive compared to link bays where she said (correctly) they are only quite small but are concrete structures above ground. Joint bays: They provide a dedicated area for connecting cables, often at intervals of up to 750 meters, depending on project constraints. Joint bays are typically around 2 meters deep, 2.5 meters wide, and 8 meters long, with a larger footprint needed during construction.
The applicant's legal team totally contradicted themselves yesterday regarding Tommy Threlfall's points about St.Annes beach closures saying "there weren't going to be any beach closures, there would only be areas closed off when work was in progress". Their documentation states there will be approximately 48 weeks of closures over the project's 2-3 year landfall phase. The areas closed off will run from the sand dunes to the sea, i.e. there will be beach closures!
